Requirements for a Distribution of a Discrete Random Variable (Q1a)
There are TWO requirements that must be satisfied in order to say that we have a proper distribution of a discrete random variable:
- The probability of each value of X must be between 0 and 1.0
- The sum of all the individual probabilities of X will equal 1.0
