Hi! Jason here from Stats Doesn’t Suck. I’ll be your guide for all things statistical, so lets get started.

… and the things I say here in the regular text can be safely ignored (especially if you’re cramming the night before the test).

So – Welcome to Chapter 1! This chapter is short and simple. No math, just some definitions.

Several basic concepts are introduced here in the first chapter. Each concept will play a key role throughout the remainder of the course. Since there’s no math, these definitions will only appear as multiple-choice questions on your test (assuming this semester’s test includes multiple-choice).
